Today we celebrate the third week of Advent: a season of anticipation and preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ, both in His birth at Christmas, and in His future return to reign forever over a renewed creation.
Many artists and musicians have been inspired by this season, exploring its themes and message of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love, leading us to Jesus. I hope you enjoy this link to a song based on the story of Mary's visit to Elizabeth, her cousin and the mother of John the Baptist (Luke 1:39-45), entitled Joy by the band Poor Bishop Hooper.
