We are in the midst of a Building Restoration Project to do some needed repairs on the exterior of the St. Luke's Church building.
Our Church has been a familiar landmark of the community of Gondola Point (in Quispamsis) for nearly 200 years, and as a unique representation of the Georgian architectural style, we are also a registered National Historic Site. This status qualifies us to apply for financial assistance from Parks Canada, and we have been blessed to receive approval for a significant grant, matching our contributions for the year 2021 up to $62,500 (our current Restoration Project comes to $125,000 total). This makes every gift go that much farther in making an impact. As stewards of this beautiful building, we want to do our part to preserve it in our neighbourhood for years to come. As members of a community of faith, we see St. Luke's as more than just a building. It is a symbol of hope, and a sacred space for Living Faith, Growing Love, and Serving Christ. |

Remembering 'Less Recent' Renovations
In the 1990's, we at St. Luke's went through another significant Building Project: adding on to our entryway, and renovating much of the Church interior. Lots of people from our Parish Family found ways to lend a hand, helping to make our Church the beautiful space it remains to this day. Take a look at some of these photos from one of our Parishioners (Barb) reminding us of all the work that was done 30 years ago.
