Alleluia! The Lord is risen indeed: O come, let us worship! Today we celebrate the joyous news that Jesus Christ has been raised from the dead. That though He suffered and died on the cross, death did not have the final say, but was itself overcome by the power and love of the Living God, and now Christ lives as the firstborn of God's New Creation. This is the cornerstone of our faith, and a world-changing mystery. In the light of Easter, let us turn to LORD in worship, prayer, and praise. Lord of life and power, through the mighty resurrection of your Son, you have overcome the old order of sin and death and have made all things new in him. May we, being dead to sin and alive to you in Jesus Christ, reign with him in glory, who with you and the Holy Spirit is alive, one God, now and for ever. Amen. Happy Easter everyone. Alleluia!
