Maundy Thursday is upon us: The night in which our Lord Jesus Christ instituted Holy Communion through sharing this sacred meal with His disciples. The night He washed their feet, and taught them to love one another. The night He was betrayed, and allowed Himself to be arrested. The night He was abandoned, and yet remained faithful to the end. Though we are not gathering together at St. Luke's Gondola Point this evening to celebrate this sacred night, we can still remember and mark this moment through worship and prayer. Please find below our At-Home Worship resources for Maundy Thursday: Here are our Songs for this service: Traditionally, after a Maundy Thursday service and in preparation for Good Friday, the vessels, hangings, and other items in the Church would be removed. While this significant act is difficult to replicate for those using At-Home resources, here is a video recording of Rev. Rob clearing the Altar at St. Luke's Church. (It may be worthwhile playing some contemplative / prayerful music if you wish to watch the video, as it is performed in relative silence).
